& SERVICES

We provide friendly and professional services to au pairs & families and will try our best to help you find a suitable match.

We can assist you with:

  • Clarifying the expectations of the host family and the au pair

  • Assessing the suitability of the au pair and host family’s situation

  • Interviews with host families and potential au pairs

  • Matching families and au pairs

  • Submission of applications to the National Youth Service (SNJ)

  • Immigration assistance

  • Administrative assistance

  • Support & follow-up of the host family and au pair during his/her stay

Making clear arrangements between the two parties is essential for a successful and rewarding au pair/family relationship.

 

Process for the Host Family

  • Registration: start by filling the application form - Application Form Host Family

  • Review of the application and a A Needs Assessment Form (NAF) is sent to better understand more about your family situation and your specific requirements.

  • Interview: organisation of an initial consultation call (Skype, Zoom, Teams) where we discuss what you want to get out of the experience and we assess whether you meet the legal requirements for the au pair program.

  • Matching: search for a potential au pair candidate in our database and through our international partners.  Introduction to the au pair.

  • Submission of the application file to the National Youth Service (SNJ) & follow-up.

  • Immigration: For non-EU candidates, application for the residence permit to the Immigration Office.

  • Administration: Support for the registration of the au pair at the town hall and social security. 

  • Support: We provide support at key moments before, during and after your au pair arrives in Luxembourg.

Process for the Au Pair

  • Review of the application and a A Need Assessment Form (NAF) is sent to better understand who you are and what are your requirements.

  • Interview: set up an initial consultation call (Skype, Zoom, Teams) where we discuss what you want to get out of the experience and we assess whether you meet the legal requirements for the au pair program.

  • Matching: search for a potential host family in our database . Introduction to the family.

  • Submission of the application file to the National Youth Service (SNJ) & follow-up.

  • Immigration: for non-EU candidates, application to the immigration authorities for a residence permit

  • Administration: support with registration at the town hall and CCSS. We can also assist with opening bank accounts, language courses, etc.

  • Support: we provide support at key moments before, during and after you arrive in Luxembourg.
